Role Description
Labcorp is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support the FP&A organization and provide financial analysis, reporting, financial modeling, and strategic insights to business and finance leadership. This position supports financial performance evaluation, trend analysis, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic healthcare and life sciences environment.
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: Full-time, Standard business hours; additional hours may be required to support business needs and reporting deadlines.
Job Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support operational and business decision-making.

Perform variance analyses to identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

Evaluate actual financial results against budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.

Analyze data from multiple business sources to produce reporting and actionable insights.

Identify trends and provide recommendations based on quantitative analysis.

Data Management & Technical Analysis

Compile, organize, validate, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources.

Read, write, edit, and interpret SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis.

Utilize laboratory systems, laboratory data marts, and other reporting tools to extract and analyze data.

Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Strategic Support

Research and evaluate complex projects involving financial, operational, and technical considerations.

Assess process methodologies and financial impacts to support business initiatives.

Recommend and support implementation of new protocols, methodologies, and processes.

Assist leadership with execution of strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans.

Business Presentation & Decision Support

Prepare and present analytical findings, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leadership.

Translate analytical findings into business impacts related to pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance.
Qualifications
-
Associate degree in Finance with 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related quantitative discipline with 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
