Role Description

As a Finance Transformation Senior Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the global financial technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity across core platforms including ERP (NetSuite), Procure-to-Pay (Coupa, Navan), and Specialized Finance Tools (FloQast, Workday, Equity Edge, Salesforce, ZoneBilling, Papaya Global). The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the finance department and IT, bridging the gap to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive efficiencies within our financial operations. The person should also be generally familiar with modern GenAI technologies such as Claude Cowork, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and GenAI API.

What Will You Do?

• Drive the evolution of the finance function by transitioning manual workflows into AI-augmented processes.
• Oversee the administration and optimization of various accounting systems.
• Take ownership of the Finance Transformation roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact between finance and IT teams.
• Build GenAI powered finance and accounting automations.
• Develop and implement best practices for system usage, data integrity, and compliance.
• Lead end-to-end system implementations and upgrades.
• Focus on initiatives that enable reporting and complex problem solving.
• Design and provide training to finance users on system functionalities.
• Assist in regular system audits and assessments.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CISA) is a plus.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in managing and optimizing accounting systems.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience building or deploying GenAI-powered automations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
• Experience in project management, including system implementations and upgrades.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
