Our Finance Transformation practice provides outsourced accounting services to clients in a variety of industries and the work can be performed remotely. If this sounds like you, apply today!</p><p>As a <b>Finance Transformation Consultant Accountant Staff </b>you will assist with projects for a variety of clients, such as:</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>Invoice Processing:</b><ul><li>Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests.</li><li>Sort, code, and match invoices.</li><li>Set invoices up for payment.</li><li>Enter and upload invoices into the system.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>3-Way Match Process:</b><ul><li>Perform 3-way match process to ensure accuracy and validity of invoices by matching the purchase order, receiving report, and vendor invoice.</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during the 3-way match process.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and approval for any discrepancies.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Payment Processing:</b><ul><li>Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.</li><li>Prepare and perform check runs.</li><li>Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable transactions.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Vendor Management:</b><ul><li>Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.</li><li>Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.</li><li>Maintain vendor files.</li><li>Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Reporting and Compliance:</b><ul><li>Produce monthly reports including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and other reports based on management needs</li><li>Assist with month-end close including accruals, depreciation, amortization, payroll entries, variance analysis, and reconciliations of significant balance sheet accounts.</li><li>Provide supporting documentation for audits.</li><li>Assist with special projects as needed</li><li>Maintain proper document support for work performed</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Continuous Improvement:</b><ul><li>Identify and implement process improvements.</li><li>Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain General ledger- code and reconcile bank/ credit card activity</li><li>Complete month- end close including accruals, depreciation, amortization, payroll entries, variance analysis and reconciliations</li><li>Process Accounts Payable for appropriate coding of vendor invoices</li><li>Perform account reconciliations for all significant balance sheet accounts</li><li>Prepare monthly reports including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and other reports based on management needs</li><li>Assist with special projects as needed</li><li>Maintain proper document support for work performed</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Experience with client accounting services</li><li>Experience with the following applications preferred:<ul><li>QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, BILL, Ramp, Divvy, Expensify, and payroll platforms such as ADP, Paychex, or Gusto</li></ul></li><li>Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting</li><li>CPA eligible preferred</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Strong ability to multi-task</li><li>Adaptable to client complexities - people, processes, and systems</li><li>Ability to provide clarity and next steps when faced with challenge</li><li>Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
