Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to manage our full financial function. This role encompasses preparing and analyzing financial statements, handling payroll, generating financial reports, and managing all bookkeeping duties to ensure accurate and compliant financial records.

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze financial statements and management accounts.
• Perform full bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Processing monthly payroll.
• Generate, review, and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Uphold compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Implement and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with any ad-hoc financial analysis or projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Managerial Accountant or in a similar management accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
