Role Description
A unique opportunity exists to join a dynamic Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team in an exciting Vice President role, supporting key functions within the Chief Technology Office. The CTO Office organization is responsible for seamlessly integrating new and emerging technologies into JPMorganChase, driving innovation and competitive advantage. Our mission encompasses transforming early-stage research into practical applications, collaborating with business and technology leaders to shape strategic directions, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
As a Vice President of Finance and Business Management within the CTO office, you will be in a high-impact leadership opportunity where you will ensure senior management has visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials, and data insights to achieve strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior Technology leaders, CFO, and key partners across F&BM to enable effective end-to-end execution.
Job responsibilities:

Collaborate with CTO Office leadership team to set strategy, objectives, and track outcomes while enhancing operational metrics.

Engage regularly with finance, risk, and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Act as approver for business expenses, including consultants, vendors, and infrastructure costs.

Partner with financial management to complete the annual budget process and assist with unit costing and cost-to-serve modeling, which will include a specific focus on product & platforms.

Active participation in Transformation workstreams, including supporting financial and portfolio management tools.

Manage headcount forecasting and reconciliation, including monitoring open positions, attrition, and location strategy.

Develop and oversee the investment governance process, including business case planning and tracking approvals.

Maintain a strong professional presence and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.

Foster strong partnerships across multiple employee levels to achieve business management goals.

Partner with Technology Leadership and CFO on financial management, including budget delivery, monthly reporting, forecasting, and expense management.
Qualifications

College degree required with 8+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry.

5+ years of management experience.

Very strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate business narratives.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge of data and analytics with the ability to present complex datasets clearly.

Self-motivated and innovative thinker capable of deriving, formulating, and developing new concepts, processes, and value-added activities.

Proven track record of independently and proactively driving initiatives forward.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and achieve successful results in a fast-paced environment.
