Role Description
Safal Partners holds certifications and contracts across various contract vehicles. Each one carries obligations. We are looking for someone to own that picture end to end. You will keep the company current on every recurring compliance and reporting requirement it carries, and you will read the terms and conditions on new opportunities, so leadership knows what they are signing up for before they sign up for it.
This is a role with real breadth. In a given month you might:
-
Run a certification audit cycle
-
Price a bid against our schedule rates
-
File a sales report to a federal portal
-
Inform a capture team about compliance costs
If you like knowing how the whole machine fits together rather than tending one corner of it, this will suit you.
Qualifications
-
Five or more years in government contract administration, compliance or contracts management, with a federal prime or subcontractor.
-
Associateβs degree is required.
-
Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS, and the ability to read a solicitation and spot which clauses create real obligations.
-
Hands-on experience with at least one certification regime β ISO 27001, ISO 9001, CMMC or NIST 800-171 β including preparing for an audit and sitting through it.
-
Experience running a compliance or obligation calendar with multiple owners and hard external deadlines.
-
Familiarity with federal reporting and registration systems such as SAM.gov, PIEE, SPRS or the FAS Sales Reporting Portal.
-
The ability to brief executives plainly: a recommendation, the reasoning behind it, and what would change your mind.
-
Sound judgement about scope. You will be asked what we do and do not handle, and the answer has consequences.
-
Experience building pricing for competitive bids β mapping labor categories to rate schedules, building price-to-win models, and analyzing margin.
Requirements
-
CMMC experience at Level 1 or Level 2, including self-assessment scoring and SPRS submission.
-
Lead auditor or internal auditor training for ISO 27001 or ISO 9001.
-
Experience with GSA MAS, SEWP, OASIS+ or state purchasing vehicles.
-
A background in supplier or third-party risk assessment.
-
Comfort building and maintaining your own trackers in Smartsheet or similar.
Benefits
-
Medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance and employee assistance programs
-
Paid federal holidays, generous PTO, and dedicated sick leave
-
401(k) plan with immediate vesting and competitive company matching
-
Flexible pathways that support advancement, mobility, and long-term development, including access to courses and certifications
-
Opportunities to contribute to innovative, mission-driven projects with impact at the federal, state, and national levels
-
A collaborative environment grounded in continuous improvement, and shared purpose
Expectations
-
No missed external filing deadline, on any vehicle.
-
Every obligation on the calendar has a named owner with a working contact, and every role has a backup.
-
Certifications are maintained through audit with no major nonconformities.
-
Every significant bid carries a written compliance position before the go/no-go decision.
