Role Description

We have an exciting dayshift opportunity available for an External Auditor. Work from home or the office – you choose!

In this role, you’ll be supporting a highly experienced team of chartered accountants and business advisors dedicated to delivering practical, high-quality financial solutions that help their clients thrive.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in external auditing and financial reporting, ideally with a Big 4 firm.
• Experience as an offshore auditor handling small to mid-sized engagements from initiation to completion.
• CA or CPA-equivalent qualification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the application of International Accounting Standards (IAS) / International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) or their Australian equivalents (AASB and AUASB).
• Experience with CaseWare and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to participate effectively in virtual meetings (MS Teams).
• Experience managing smaller engagements, including job budgets and timelines.
• Experience supervising, supporting, and mentoring junior staff.
• Passionate about process improvement and contributing to audit methodology development.
• High level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability in delivering results.
