Role Description

The Enterprise Risk & Reporting Lead plays a critical role in building and operating the company’s enterprise risk. The role is responsible for establishing and executing a robust enterprise risk management framework that supports safe growth, regulatory readiness, and informed decision-making across the organisation. It ensures that key risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in a consistent and forward-looking manner, aligned with regulatory expectations and the company’s strategic objectives.

• Provides the structure and insight needed to define risk appetite.
• Assesses resilience under stress.
• Supports capital and liquidity planning.
• Ensures that new products and strategic changes are evaluated through a clear risk lens.
• Translates complex risk information into clear, actionable reporting for senior management and governance bodies.
• Enables transparency, accountability, and effective oversight.
• Initially operates as a hands-on role, evolving into a leadership position responsible for building and scaling the enterprise risk and reporting function.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory risk, or a related discipline within a regulated financial services or banking environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, including Risk Appetite, RCSA, scenario analysis, stress testing, and ICAAP.
• Experience working with regulatory expectations relevant to banks or payment institutions, including capital, liquidity, and operational risk requirements.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and interactions with supervisors, auditors, and internal governance bodies.
• Professional risk or finance certifications such as CFA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex risk and financial data into clear, concise management and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy, while also collaborating effectively across functions and building strong working relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment skills, with the confidence to make decisions, escalate issues, and operate in a fast-growing, evolving regulatory environment.
