As our Due Diligence Quality Control Underwriter, you’ll partner with the [Manager], founders, and executives to protect the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of every loan file we touch, across Non-QM, Conventional, Jumbo, Government, Correspondent, and business purpose loans. Qualifications

• 5+ years of current due diligence quality control and underwriting experience
• 3+ years reviewing Non-QM loans
• Strong appraisal review skills
• Deep understanding of DSCR and business purpose loans
• Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines knowledge
• Familiarity with QM/ATR and post-close quality control best practices
• Experience at a due diligence firm and with Laura Mac is a plus

Requirements

• Review mortgage loan files for accuracy and confirm all required documents are present
• Perform due diligence reviews of residential mortgage loan applications and documentation
• Analyze borrower credit profiles, collateral, and capacity to repay
• Calculate and analyze loan-to-value ratios and debt obligations
• Analyze purchase contracts, title commitments, and other pertinent loan documentation
• Enter review results into our proprietary software
• Conduct risk analysis, make decisions on deficiencies found during review, and recommend resolutions
• Stay current on agency, state, and multiple investor guidelines
• Manage your time and prioritize your workload to meet daily production goals
