[Hiring] Director of Strategic Finance @zerohash

Role Description

zerohash is looking for a Director of Strategic Finance to lead our strategic planning, FP&A, and commercial finance efforts. This role will report directly to the VP, Corporate Finance and Treasury.

• Own and evolve the consolidated corporate financial model (Three-Statement Model).
• Create dynamic "tops-down" and "bottoms-up" forecasts that drive headcount planning and capital allocation.
• Architect a framework to track contribution margins on a per-product and per-platform customer basis.
• Liaise with Product and Revenue teams to align technical resources with high-value customer demand.
• Act as a strategic thought partner on roadmap prioritization, utilizing competitive analysis and market comps.
• Partner with the Revenue organization to structure complex enterprise contracts.
• Drive margin expansion by leading commercial negotiations with critical infrastructure vendors.
• Own the company's financial model infrastructure and ensure external presentation materials are current.
• Build sensitivity analyses to pressure-test the business against market volatility and competition.
• Develop the framework and analyze LTV (Lifetime Value) and CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance or FP&A.
• Preferred background in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Experience in FinTech, Crypto, Payments, or Brokerage is highly valued.
• Advanced Modeling Skills: Best-in-class financial modeling capabilities.
• Tech & Data Savvy: Comfortable navigating modern software tools and large datasets.
• AI & Process Automation: Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows.
• Commercial Acumen: Understand B2B/B2B2C API business models.
• Effective communicator, both written and oral.
• Strong attention to detail in assessing financial information.
• Ability to adapt and learn new processes and tasks.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
