Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Finance (serving as the organization's senior finance leader) to lead our accounting and finance functions while partnering closely with executive leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to partner directly with executive leadership while overseeing:

• Accounting operations
• Financial reporting
• Project financial management
• Contract administration
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Business planning

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys operating in a growing entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day financial operations. The Director of Finance will play a critical role in ensuring:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role such as Finance Director, Controller, Assistant Controller, VP Finance, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with:
  • Project Accounting
  • Contract Financial Management
  • Multi-Project Environments
  • Complex Client Billing Systems
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with Deltek, Ajera, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or similar ERP/project accounting systems.
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Requirements

• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience within:
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • ASHTO Indirect Cost Rate Management
  • Real Estate Services
  • Right-of-Way Consulting
  • Infrastructure
  • Engineering Consulting
  • Professional Services Organizations
  • ERP Implementation
• Proven success improving financial systems, reporting, and operational processes in a growing organization.
