Role Description

As the Director of Finance, you’ll be the finance leader who turns complexity into clarity. You’ll own the operating financial rhythm of today, while helping our executive team build tomorrow - smarter, faster, and with only good surprises!

• Build a repeatable financial operating model for complex, compliance-heavy projects, including budget-to-actual comparisons, burn rates, cost allocation, and overall fiscal performance metrics.
• Partner with our Quality Assurance team to deliver accurate, timely, audit-ready financials that we’re proud to put our name on.
• Lead monthly close and quarterly reporting activities, creating predictable outcomes with a clear narrative.
• Strengthen controls and compliance while keeping the business moving fast.
• Translate tradeoffs into decisions - forecasting, scenarios, and recommendations that help us pick the right direction together.
• Work hand in hand with the operations and client-facing teams when financial issues arise, before they become escalations.
• Help position us for growth and the exciting chapters ahead!

Qualifications

• Fluent in the numbers and comfortable with the messy middle of scaling fast.
• Ability to move from deep analysis to executive conversation without missing a beat.
• Hands-on when needed, but always building people, processes, and tools.
• Simplifies complicated things and builds systems to keep them simple.
• Anticipates communication before it's needed and always knows the audience.
• Calm, direct, and follows through.

Requirements

• Full-Time, Exempt Employee
• Salary: $120k - $150k
