Role Description

The Smile Institute is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Dental Insurance & Billing Specialist to join our team!

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Process and post Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Process insurance checks and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims.
• Resolve insurance discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate patient accounts and billing records.
• Communicate effectively with our office team.

Qualifications

• Previous dental insurance and billing experience required.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, benefits, and claims processing.
• Experience with dental practice management software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
