Role Description
Credit and Collections contributes to the Companyโs growth and profitability by managing cash flow to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. The Corporate Credit Manager is responsible for assessing the credit risk and viability of potential and existing clients, through the use of financial analysis, credit reports and trade references. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams.

Manage a team of credit professionals.

Oversee all credit, collections, and coding of customer payments for posting in North America and European business. This includes accounts in various foreign currency; USD, CAD, EUR, GBP and CHF.

Prepare monthly Cash Flow Forecast, AR Reserve and Percentage of Past Due reports.

Develop and enhance formal processes for issuance of credit lines, collections and deduction management.

Reduce bad debt and delinquent accounts, while improving customer satisfaction.

Review accounts in collections and monitor collection agencies performance.

Monitor cash application function; work with finance and customer service to review short pays, credit refunds, discounts and returns.

Review and approve payment plans.

Partner with legal on bankruptcies, judgements, depositions, court appearances.

Review terms, credit reports and order volume on existing accounts.

Review AR credit insurance policy on a yearly basis and assess alternatives to meet the needs of the company and the industry environment.

Review credit applications, assign credit limits and terms.

Responsible for high profile accounts, distributors, international accounts, other accounts/countries as needed.

Maintain customer sales tax exemption certificates.

Manage ecommerce accounts โ Pulling of payment details for posting, research and reconciliation, credit card chargeback and fraud review.

Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelorโs Degree in related discipline.

5 yearsโ experience in Credit & Collection.

Supervisory/management experience.

Working knowledge of Credit, Collections, and Commercial Law.

Current working knowledge of AR insurance with international accounts.

Windows operating environment and MS Office products (Excel and Word).
Requirements
Position is exempt (salaried) and we operate on a 4x10's schedule, Monday through Thursday. This position is currently remote but preference will be given to candidates in the Greater Seattle Area. We are currently only considering applicants who reside in Washington State.
Expected pay range is between $105,000 and $120,000 annually.
