[Hiring] Corporate Bookkeeper @Distinction, LLC

Role Description

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records across corporate operations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes
• Reconcile accounts and ensure data integrity across systems
• Assist with financial reporting and compliance requirements
• Partner with the Finance Director and leadership to support operational decision-making
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
• Generate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Support budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning
• Conduct account analysis and ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations

Qualifications

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-starter who can manage priorities independently
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Committed to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills
