[Hiring] Controller @Guidebook

Role Description

We are looking for a Controller to own Guidebook's accounting operations end to end. This is the whole function in one seat. You will:

• Run the monthly close
• Own AR and AP
• Process payroll
• Manage cash
• Produce reporting for the leadership team and board

You will report directly to the President and have support from a fractional CFO/Principal where needed. This role has no direct reports, but you will manage the accounting function with real authority. You will find processes that are manual, undocumented, or outdated and will be expected to fix them.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience owning a close, not just a piece of one
• Proficient in NetSuite
• Ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Clear written communication skills
• Comfortable being the only one in the accounting function
