Role Description

We're hiring a detail-oriented, adaptable Controller to manage cash flow, month-end close, KPI reporting, and financial operations across ~13 client accounts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable shifting priorities without sacrificing accuracy. They can report and analyze at a high level, but also get into the weeds to book entries, reconcile and assist the team in the nitty gritty.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple client accounts, including cash flow forecasting, AP approvals, and payroll administration.
• Lead month-end/year-end close: reconciliations, revenue tie-outs, and accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including AI/automation tools, to boost efficiency and controls.
• Partner with CFOs, client leadership, Sales, and Operations to deliver financial insights and support to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Review sales contracts and reconcile CRM (HubSpot) data with executed agreements and financial records.
• Build strong knowledge of each client's business, contracts, and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5–8+ years progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2–3 years as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, entities, or business units simultaneously.
• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills; Quickbooks master; CRM/HubSpot experience a plus.

Location

This is a remote position.

Compensation

$120,000 annual base salary with a quarterly performance bonus opportunity.
