The Granicus Accounting team is a dynamic and high performing group that partners with both internal and external customers to drive success for the Company. We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate would be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems and is effective at managing relationships and communicating. This position is based in Costa Rica.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

• Run and review NetSuite aging reports daily to identify accounts to contact
• Contact designated customers over one day past due via telephone and email
• Follow-up on unresponsive customers at least weekly
• Record collection activities and past-due invoice statuses in NetSuite collection notes
• Research additional customer contact information as needed using websites and Salesforce
• Review aging reports to identify overpayments, credits, and journal entries requiring application
• Review accounts for possible small balance write-offs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, and customer service
• Experience with government agency invoices is a plus
• Problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively under deadlines
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
• Experience using Copilot for AI use is a plus
