Role Description

As CFO, you will:

• Develop and execute a strategic financial roadmap that fuels innovation and expansion throughout Africa.
• Lead fundraising efforts, securing significant growth capital to support ambitious expansion plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to enable data-driven decisions.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, including 3+ years as a CFO or senior financial executive in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and investor relations.
• Deep expertise in FP&A, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Experience scaling financial systems in a rapidly growing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of emerging markets, particularly in Africa, including regulatory landscapes, economic conditions, and business practices.
• Experience in West Africa (Ghana, Francophone markets) or Southern Africa (Zambia) is highly advantageous.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance (preferred).
• Fluency in French and English (highly advantageous).
