[Hiring] CFO @Phaseform

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced external CFO (m/f/d) who can take ownership of our financial planning, reporting, and grant management — and grow with us into what comes next.

• Financial planning (P&L, cash flow, budget), forecasts, scenario analyses, runway, and data room materials (investor-grade)
• Short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity planning, cash management, and reporting
• Owning the tax advisor (Steuerberater) relationship (financial data per HGB)
• Funding agency interface for cost reporting, financials for new grants
• Consistent intercompany / group reporting for investors and stakeholders
• Sparring partner to the CEO

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or senior Controller
• Deep familiarity with HGB, German tax law, and the tax advisor / auditor (Steuerberater / Wirtschaftsprüfer) ecosystem
• Financial modelling skills (investor-grade)
• Hands-on mentality; comfortable in lean environments
• Native-level German; English working proficiency

• Nice to have: Startup or venture-backed environment, investor due diligence processes
• Public funding, working with project management agencies
• Multi-entity reporting and consolidation
