[Hiring] Certified Financial Planner - Tax Specialist @LearnLux

Role Description

LearnLux is looking for a full time dual Certified Financial Planner® and licensed Tax Specialist to join our fast growing team. Leveraging the LearnLux digital experience you will work directly with employees to provide them with unbiased, holistic financial and tax guidance. Your extensive financial experience and client-first approach will help employees prepare for and accomplish their personal and financial goals.

This role is 100% remote within the US and reports to the Director of Financial Planning.

What you’ll do

• Provide coverage at various shifts from 7 AM - 11 PM ET Monday through Fridays and 9 AM - 4 PM ET on Saturdays.
• Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat and email to give guidance on topics like budgeting, student loans, retirement readiness, equity compensation, debt management, taxes and more.
• Advise on the LearnLux methodology to improve and respond to the changing financial environment.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to bring your subject matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience.
• Become an expert on our client’s benefit plans to act as an extension of their team during open enrollment.
• Work with our content team to create outlines, lessons, video content, review lessons and approve content created for the LearnLux digital platform.
• Design and lead engagement campaigns for our employer partners like digital webinars and occasional on-site events.

Qualifications

• CFP® designation required.
• CPA® or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
• Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future.
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently, prioritize work, and take direction from multiple team members.
• Experience with Company Equity (ISO’s, RSU’s, ESPP’s).
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and execute.
• Experience in multiple areas of personal finance: Retirement, Equity Compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, Student Loans, cash flow planning, digital currencies, estate planning, insurance, taxes and more.

Requirements

• Certification in Credit Counseling (preferred).
• Additional Certifications (preferred).
• Startup and/or Fintech experience (preferred).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) (preferred).
• Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences virtually or in-person (preferred).
• Availability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays (preferred).
• Ability to occasionally travel to on-site events (preferred).
