Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Australian Accountant to manage end-to-end accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and comfortable working with accounting systems, reconciliations, and month-end processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Australian Accounting is strictly required.
Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Process invoices, verify approvals, and manage payment runs

Reconcile supplier statements, credit cards, and resolve discrepancies

Maintain supplier records and respond to payment enquiries

Support month-end AP closing and reporting
-
Payroll & Compliance
-
Process fortnightly payroll and bank uploads
-
Reconcile payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and leave balances
-
Ensure compliance with GST, PAYG, and Super requirements
-
Month-End & Reconciliations
-
Record monthly transactions and review expenses for completeness

Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
-
Financial Reporting
-
Prepare periodic financial reports and reconcile general ledger

Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and audit preparation

Ad Hoc Support
-
Assist with general finance/admin tasks and office ordering as required
Qualifications
-
Experience in Australian Accounting is strictly required
-
Proven experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting

Experience using MYOB AccountsRight (or similar accounting software) is strictly required
-
Familiarity with SAP Concur, Definitiv (Payroll/HR), AirWallex, and MS Office Suite

Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial controls

Knowledge of GST, PAYG, and Superannuation compliance requirements

High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

Strong organisational and time management skills

Good communication skills and ability to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity

Benefits

Monthly Salary: Php35,000
-
Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month

You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays

Probation: 6 months and after Probation
