Role Description
The Associate, Investment Operations role will be a critical part of the Investment Services team, which supports investment execution and post-investment management and monitoring for private debt and equity impact investments that are recommended by our donors/clients. This role is essential in delivering quality service to internal and external clients alike, which requires an analytical, organized, flexible and energetic self-starter.

Review Client Recommended Investments across all impact themes, asset classes, sectors, geographies and structures to assess suitability for investment.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures and with regulations.

Communicate liquidity needs for client accounts cross-functionally.

Coordinate investment document execution and facilitate wiring of funds.

Utilize Pipeline Management tools to manage workflow and tasks.

Support investment data entry within multiple investment management systems.

Create loan schedules.

Support, and as appropriate, lead, critical projects, as identified and assigned.

Identify and implement new process improvement opportunities to maintain a world-class, efficient operation.

Support cross-functional initiatives to improve the experience for highly engaged impact investing clients.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounting, finance, data science, investment operations, financial services, or investment management.

Bachelorโs degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Exposure to impact investing and/or private market investing across asset classes and investment types, donor advised funds, and broader financial services.

Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Energetic and organized individual: highly attuned organizational skills, attention to detail, professional demeanor, ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.

Resourceful in searching for responses to questions and developing solutions.

Prior experience with investment management system and ticket management system a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams required.

Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools Box and Asana preferred.

Experience working in a virtual working environment preferred.
Requirements

This role is a full-time, remote position and can be performed from anywhere in the US, with a requirement to work East Coast business hours.

Travel 1-2 times per year to company events will be required.

Base salary ranges from $75,000 - $83,000 and is highly dependent on experience and location.
