Role Description

This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced organization with a large, stable and growing presence in the software industry! As an Assistant Controller, you will support the Controller and provide financial support and analysis that will have a direct impact on the success of the group.

Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will work closely with an existing team of finance professionals while participating in the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process.

• Actively participate in the month-end process;
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L analysis;
• Interpret KPI on a monthly basis;
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
• Assist the BU in the preparation of their Budget and Forecast;
• Assist the finance team on a daily basis;
• Help the controller with various projects within the department;
• Assist in the preparation of the audit file during the year-end audit;
• Help implement new solutions that improve operational efficiency;
• Confirm that we properly follow IFRS rules (IFRS 15/IFRS16).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in industry;
• Certified CPA (Completed or in progress), a plus;
• Good knowledge of French & English (verbally and written);
• Experience with IFRS reporting framework, a plus;
• Experience with Microsoft D365, a plus;
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel, and Microsoft Office.
