[Hiring] Analytics and Pricing Expert @Alan

Role Description

The role is to:

• Price and shape offers with our sales teams for large corporates and public institutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor in client meetings.
• Design insurance products that fit member needs and regulation.
• Support account managers in renewing our most strategic clients, including indexation and loss-ratio conversations.

In Belgium, recent missions include:

• Build winning products and pricing strategies to unlock new segments.
• Bring insurance expertise to help us sign the largest customers in Belgium, including public tenders.
• Strengthen our competitiveness through coverage and price trade-offs.
• Work with engineers to build tools to create tailored insurance offers at scale.
• Be part of an insurance community at the global level, with an impact on our organisation, hiring and training across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an actuarial, pricing or underwriting role, ideally on health, hospitalisation or group insurance.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong plus.
• Combine a scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with an analytical, structured and fact-based way of working.
• Comfortable navigating technical, data, legal and business questions with clients and internal teams.
• Excited to bring technical expertise into a business-centric context, and at ease with ambiguity.
• Builder mindset: continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and tools.
• Communicate in a clear, structured and to-the-point way in English (written and spoken).
• Willing to deeply change the insurance industry and challenge the status quo.
