[Hiring] Accounts Receivable Specialist @Netsmart

Role Description

We are seeking a Medical Billing Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement by managing claims, resolving denials, and following up on outstanding balances.

Join our dynamic team as a Revenue Cycle Management Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist, where you'll play a key role in the full life cycle of accounts receivable operations. Your expertise will help ensure smooth financial processes and client satisfaction.

• Accurately prepare, post, verify, and record payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Generate and submit client invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update client records, including changes to contact information, mergers, and mailing preferences.
• Draft and send correspondence for past-due accounts; identify delinquent accounts and initiate collection efforts.
• Support monthly billing cycles by generating statements and reconciling revenue accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely claim follow-up through clearinghouse platforms.
• Organize and manage AR documentation, including copying, filing, and retrieving materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of professionalism when interacting with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as FinancialForce.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms like Salesforce.
• Background in AR within a software or technology company.
• Exposure to contract management and billing processes.
