[Hiring] Accounts Assistant @Remote Recruitment

Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and numerically minded Accounts Assistant to support the finance function of a UK-based company on a fully remote basis. You will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial administration to help keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments accurately
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review

Requirements

• Based in South Africa with a valid ID or passport
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance administration is preferred
• Comfortable using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and spreadsheets
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and a quiet workspace

Benefits
