Role Description

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Central Region is looking for an Accounting Technician 1 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

This position is one of a group of two responsible for processing all Central Region Time & Equipment timesheets (T&E) in the IRIS system using the creation, completion, review, and approval of ICT documents. It will also provide support to the Budget Section's Administrative Officer 1 and Budget Analyst 2 in the review of financial activities within the Design, Engineering and Construction components for Central Region, and other regions, divisions and Statewide components as needed.

• Computer Skills: Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.
• Clerical: Knowledge of filing, typing, entering data, maintaining records, taking shorthand, and using and completing forms.

Requirements

• One year of clerical work experience maintaining records that included using computer systems and performing basic arithmetic calculations.
