Role Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Staff to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with payroll, invoicing, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) and is comfortable communicating professionally through email. This is a full-time remote position requiring strong accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage accounting tasks independently.

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including customer invoices, payment tracking, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and send invoices accurately and on time.
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Record and categorize financial transactions.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts when necessary.
• Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Communicate with clients, customers, vendors, and internal team members through email regarding invoices, payments, and account-related concerns.
• Assist with basic financial reports and other bookkeeping or accounting tasks as required.
• Ensure financial information is entered accurately and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance-related role.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Payroll
  • Invoicing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written English and professional email communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Able to work independently and manage recurring financial deadlines.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through until issues are resolved.
• Reliable, organized, and accountable for assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
