[Hiring] Accounting Specialist 1 @GP Strategies

Role Description

• Accounts Payable (AP) Management
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with local tax requirements in each Latin American country.
  • Payment Cycle: Execute and schedule payments to suppliers and employee expense reimbursements, maintaining an organized cash flow.
  • Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies in balances or outstanding payments.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate historical records of all disbursement transactions for audits.
• Accounting Analysis and Control
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations between bank balances and entries in the accounting system.
  • Monthly Closing: Actively participate in month-end closing activities, including recording provisions and accounting adjustments.
  • Account Analysis: Review balance sheet accounts such as advances to suppliers, fixed assets, and accounts receivable.
