[Hiring] Accounting Manager @Altametrics

Role Description

• Owns the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, delivering accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with US GAAP.
• Researches and resolves complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity consolidation.
• Supervises and mentors accounting staff, delegating work and reviewing reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Establishes, monitors, and improves internal controls, and acts as the primary contact for external US audits.
• Develops budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, and analyzes variances to support executive decision-making.
• Optimizes the accounting technology stack (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com) to drive efficiency and automation.
• Ensures compliance with US federal, state, and local tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with strong knowledge of US GAAP preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or controller-level role, preferably in a US-based company or BPO setting.
• High proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero, and advanced Microsoft Excel (modeling, lookups, pivot tables).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for presenting to US management.
• Willingness to work US business hours (night shift in the Philippines).
