[Hiring] Accounting Consultant @MinIO

Role Description

We are seeking a part-time Accounting Consultant with deep institutional knowledge of MinIO to support the transition of this knowledge to other team members. This role is part-time with hourly billing for up to 20 hours per week.

What You Will Do

• Train new and existing team members on accounting processes and systems including but not limited to revenue, GL accounting, and consolidations.
• Provide hands-on guidance across core accounting functions.
• Provide guidance on existing system architecture.
• Answer questions that arise during audits and provide historical context on accounting decisions and processes.
• Assist with locating and identifying supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of MinIO’s historical accounting processes and documentation.
• Experience working with Sage Intacct.
• Ability to clearly explain historical context and train others effectively.
• Comfortable working independently in a flexible, on-demand capacity.
