[Hiring] Accounting Associate Accounts Receivable @Uniform Advantage (UA Brands)

Role Description

The primary responsibility of the Accounting Associate Accounts Receivable is to ensure the timely and accurate invoicing of customers for goods sold on account, collection of outstanding receivables, follow-up on past-due balances, and accurate posting of daily customer payments. The Accounting Associate will also support the Accounts Receivable function by assisting with the customer credit application and approval process, reviewing and analyzing customer accounts, preparing customer statements, responding to customer inquiries and correspondence, and resolving billing and payment discrepancies to ensure accurate records and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience as Accounting Associate Accounts Receivable.
• Accounts receivable billing and collection of 8 years of experience.
• Applying payments to open invoices 8 years of experience.
• Customer correspondence and Customer account reconciliation of 8 years of experience.
• Experience in Microsoft AX, Retail Pro.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe PDF, etc.
• Understanding on how to use SharePoint, Business Objects and Workfront.
• Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps upload/download.
• Quiet, private, distraction-free home workspace with no conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Enter invoices and payment information for customers in Microsoft AX.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.
• Process customer payments, debit memos, credit memos & write-off.
• Maintain customer master account information.
• Process credit applications and new customer setup.
• Contact with customers regarding questions, issues, payment status, reasons for non-payment and follow-up for collection.
• Prepare aging reports for management review, and reconciliation reports between Microsoft AX and Retail Pro on a monthly basis.
• Future responsibility for performance management of A/R department.
• Help improve AR processes using AI tools.
