Role Description

We’re looking for experienced Billing Specialists with expertise in Collections and QuickBooks Online to join our team. Whether you’re seeking a full-time (40 hrs/week) or part-time (20 hrs/week) role, we offer flexible work options to fit your schedule.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and file U.S. tax forms (e.g., federal and state returns, 1099s, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and regulations.
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online or similar) for bookkeeping and reporting.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant working with U.S.-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience preparing and filing U.S. tax returns and reports.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (C1 level or higher) and Spanish (written and spoken).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable laptop (2017 or newer) and stable internet connection.
• Reside permanently in Latin America.
