Role Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions and support the smooth running of our financial operations. In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and providing reliable financial information to support business decisions.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and financial statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance qualification, or relevant practical experience
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Comfortable working remotely and aligning working hours with the US (EST/EDT) time zone
