Role Description

The Accountant will assist the Accounting delivery team in the execution & delivery of our client accounting services. This role involves managing specific client deliverable tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role also contributes to the development of overall delivery of our services.

• Maintain accurate general ledger (GL) records and financial transactions.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned global clients.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, intercompany, AR and AP reconciliations etc.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities including journal postings and accruals.
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
• Assist in tax computations, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting and compliance matters.
• Liaising with auditor, local advisors and consultant in relation to audit of accounts, tax and company law compliance matters.
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of accounting services.
• Support urgent client deliverables and ad-hoc accounting projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management.
• Familiarity with accounting ERP such as QuickBooks, Netsuite, Oracle or SAP.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
