[Hiring] A/R & Cash Posting Specialist @Somewhere

Role Description

We are hiring an A/R & Cash Posting Specialist to support the back-end revenue cycle with a focus on payment posting, reconciliation, and accounts receivable follow-ups. This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and experience ensuring accurate payment application and timely collections.

• Perform cash posting (ERA + manual)
• Reconcile payments against claims and contracts
• Manage A/R aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve underpayments and discrepancies
• Work with payers to resolve payment-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of adjustments and payment activity
• Support reporting on collections performance

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in Medical A/R
• Cash posting / payment posting
• Strong understanding of EOBs / ERAs
• Payment reconciliation
• A/R workflows
• Experience working with U.S. healthcare billing systems
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Requirements

• Nice-to-Have: Exposure to denials workflows
• Experience with Candid or similar platforms
