Role Description
This role involves providing administrative management support to the legal department and quality legal services to company departments.
- Utilizes experience and judgment to support and accomplish department goals
- Performs complex and specialized tasks
- Works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Paralegal Degree or Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of corporate and/or health care law experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Registered paralegal or equivalent certification
- In-depth knowledge of corporate transactional agreements, employment agreements, and other business agreements
- Basic understanding of healthcare laws
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with Executive and Senior Management
- Effective planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company information
- Oversees legal department and supervises administrative staff
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate administrative staff
- Proficiency with Word (including styles), Outlook, and database management systems
