Role Description
Taxwell is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making through financial modeling, data analysis, and performance reporting. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and developing insights to drive business efficiency and growth.
- Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis to assess performance and highlight key insights.
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and refinement of budget and forecast processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Support the development and maintenance of dynamic financial models to drive strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance FP&A efficiency.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to align FP&A reporting, budgeting, and forecasting with business needs.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of key metrics, trends, and system updates.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data management and quality control processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, integrating relevant insights into financial analysis and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Proficiency in using Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar reporting software
- Proven experience in financial and/or quantitative analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
