Role Description

This role involves providing practical and clear legal advice to our research, engineering, and product teams in the development and release of our products and services.

Lead as a trusted subject matter expert on privacy, AI, and data governance.
Operate as a trusted business partner to product, engineering, data, and go-to-market teams.
Guide product design and feature development with a privacy-by-design mindset.
Partner with the commercial legal team to negotiate and support privacy and product-related terms.
Create, maintain, and update comprehensive checklists and playbooks.
Lead the development and operationalization of scalable data and AI governance frameworks.
Develop scalable internal guidance, playbooks, and training for product and commercial teams.
Develop and update privacy-related notices, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Monitor evolving laws and regulatory guidance related to data privacy, AI, and emerging technologies.
Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven legal team.
Support team members and help shape legal processes as ServiceTitan continues to scale.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
7-10 years of combined law firm and in-house experience.
At least 4+ years of in-house product, privacy and AI governance experience.
A results-driven, self-starter attitude.
Deep expertise in U.S. and global privacy and data protection issues.
Proven experience developing and implementing playbooks, privacy notices, and policies.
Technology industry experience working in a B2B SaaS Company.
Strong familiarity with digital technologies, data processing concepts, and information security requirements.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
A strong understanding of SaaS, data-rich platforms, or regulated industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
