Role Description
This role involves providing legal services and managing legal risk for MUFG entities and branches across EMEA.
- Assisting with monitoring, identifying and advising on legal, regulatory and market developments that may impact MUFG and its business.

Providing legal advice, drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation for a broad range of banking transactions, including:
- Project finance
- Aviation finance
- Fund finance
- Asset finance
- Securitization
- Leveraged finance
- Structured products
- Derivatives
- Advising on legal, regulatory and reputational issues arising in transactions and non-transactional aspects of MUFG's operations.
Qualifications
- LLM degree (or expected LLM degree) from a Dutch university.
- Excellent academic results.
- Work experience as junior legal counsel, intern, paralegal, or thesis student at a reputable law firm or significant financial institution is an advantage.
- Demonstrable interest in the financial services industry in Dutch and English; familiarity with other European languages is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Benefits
- Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market.
- 8% holiday allowance and 13th month payment.
- 30 vacation days per year; optional to buy 15 additional days.
- Commuting allowance based on annual public transport 2nd class, most economical way, or €0.23 per km with a max of 75 km one way.
- €5.00 net remote working compensation per day, with a maximum of €60.00 per month.
