Role Description
This role involves joining the Revenue Management Department as a Financial Analyst, where you will work closely with firm management by providing information and analysis needed to support the firm’s business operations.
- Preparation, review, and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual firm-wide reports and analyses related to attorney and paralegal productivity, fee billings, and collections.
- Frequent ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of senior management, practice leaders, and local office management and staff.
- Some general administrative duties will be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, or a similar quantitative focus.
- Two to four years of work experience preferred; experience in a professional services firm is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and financial processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and highly motivated individual who thrives in such an environment.
- Ability to organize and manipulate large data sets from diverse systems and sources.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PC-based Windows applications, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc).
- Experience with SQL and VBA is preferred, or a willingness to learn these skills.
