Role Description
This role involves managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections.
- Evaluate customer accounts for any issues relating to reconciliations/statements ensuring aging balances are investigated and resolved timely
- Contact customers to remind and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments due
- Meet or exceed monthly collection targets to ensure timely cash flow
- Effectively manage customer inquiries and disputes
- Develop and implement strategies for recovering long-overdue account receivables
- Maintain accurate credit and collection files and perform monthly portfolio analysis
- Analyze accounts to recommend and establish an appropriate reserve for bad debts
Qualifications
- A Master degree in Finance, accounting or any other related field
- Complete professional fluency in English and French. Proficiency in Spanish is a distinct advantage
- 1-2 years+ of experience in a credit control role with high volume of transaction processing in financial ERP
- Knowledge/experience in Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics/Navision) is ideal
- Strong reporting skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Proven track record of being highly organized with an ability to drive work to completion independently with a strong attention to detail
- Experience working to tight deadlines
