Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage financial records across multiple entities, including an Amazon-based business and Seller Candy. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and supporting compliance and strategic planning efforts across businesses.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in QuickBooks for all assigned entities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of all accounts.
- Support any bookkeeping-related tasks needed to ensure the smooth financial operation and success of the business.
- Pull and interpret financial data from Amazon Seller Central (preferred).
- Reconcile Amazon payouts and transactions with QuickBooks.
- Identify and correct discrepancies between Amazon and internal records.
- Assist in preparing tax documents for each entity, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
- Support any compliance-related financial tasks as needed.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for financial planning and budgeting across entities.
- Ensure adherence to entity-specific financial and legal requirements.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Identify gaps and suggest improvements to optimize processes and ensure financial health.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably managing finances for multiple businesses or LLCs.
- Experience working with Amazon Seller Central financials is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping best practices.
- Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements for LLCs and multi-entity operations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Stripe, and other financial tools.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping and QuickBooks.
- Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate urgent requests and shifting priorities.
- Comfortable working in a remote setup with strong self-direction and accountability.
