Role Description
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for various accounting and bookkeeping duties such as:
- Processing business transactions including accounts receivable
- Helping with the monthly close of financials
- Reconciliation of bank statements
- Adhoc reporting
- Managing accounts receivable process, including generating and sending invoices to our enterprise clients
- Working with the business development team to ensure all new or modified contract terms for enterprise clients have been communicated and are accurately reflected in the billing system
- Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other account irregularities
- Following up on, collecting, and appropriately allocating payments to our enterprise customer balances
- Generating and reviewing AR aging
- Analyzing transactions, events, and circumstances that caused changes in the company’s assets and liabilities
- Preparing general journal entries and providing a complete record of each transaction or other event that transpired in a given accounting period
- Preparing adjusting entries necessary to achieve proper matching of revenues and expenses when determining net income for the current period
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations and maintaining supporting schedules and work papers
- Assisting auditors in performing quarterly and annual audits by providing audit schedules that tie with the ledger accounts
- Interacting directly with external auditors to provide answers and clarifications to any audit questions pertaining to a specific account
- Addressing adhoc requests as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable role
- Experience in Netsuite with specialization in Customers updated, Monthly Invoicing, Cash Applications, necessary Journal Entries, and Month End Reconciliations
- Experience with Looker or Tableau required
- Strong Excel / SQL skills
- Healthcare experience a plus
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other quantitative focus preferred
- Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $70,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
