Role Description
Join Aprio's Finance Team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their dynamic team.
- Over-all in charge of the accounts payable (AP) team.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment.
- Work closely with Procurement team related to vendor creation and management.
- Ensures compliance with company’s procurement policy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
- Develop necessary policies and procedures related to AP and collaborate with Manager, Expense Management.
- Develop and maintain SLA’s in processing invoices or payments. Ensures timely processing of payable and that supporting documents are complete.
- Support and provide guidance to the AP team and be the first point of contact for any AP related issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with Finance team (GL team and Expense Management Team).
- Provide support to Director, Corporate Controller and Manager, Expense Management.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and accounting in a leadership role.
- Experience with large ERP systems is required. Workday system experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven process improvement mindset required.
- Must have prior experience working in the Shared Services/BPO Industry or an accounting firm.
