[Hiring] Thermodynamics Engineer @Sapsol Technologies Inc

Role Description

In your role, you will:

• Support new aircraft program development and in-service aircraft in all thermodynamics related issues.
• Address aircraft ice/fog protection systems performance, zonal pressure, temperature and flowrate analysis, avionics cooling, and general thermal analysis of systems and structures.
• Understand the systems being analyzed and how they interface with the aircraft and other aircraft systems.
• Communicate with internal systems/structures groups, system suppliers, and flight test teams to resolve issues, plan tests, analyze and certify modifications.
• Help the Global 7000 / 8000 thermodynamic team support activities related to bleed air systems (wing ice protection system, environmental control system, ducting system, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• A Master's degree including courses in fluid dynamics, atmospheric icing, and heat transfer would be an asset.
• Knowledge of MS Office software and familiarity with various aircraft pneumatics systems and their modeling is essential.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5 and programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, and C/C++ would be an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to travel on short-term assignments.
