[Hiring] Telecommunications Designer @CCI Systems, Inc.

Role Description

We are seeking remote, full-time Telecommunications Designers Level 1 with 1-5 years of experience in OSP telecom design, fiber optic (FTTx), splicing, and network architecture, with the ability to create BOMs, splice sheets, and supporting design documentation. Candidates must be able to read and interpret telecom engineering drawings, field notes, and specifications and be proficient with AutoCAD, ArcGIS Online, or similar design software.

• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes.
• Understand survey field notes and sketches to create new or update existing designs using various software platforms.
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings.
• Generation of bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for design.
• Complete assigned work while maintaining an elevated level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Work with project managers, design engineers, and QC team to meet deadlines.
• Focus on productivity and accuracy of designs in a high production environment.
• Adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, including strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Fiber optic design experience and understanding of FTTx networks.
• Preferred experience with GIS, Vetro, ArcGIS pro, Bluebeam, Visio, and PDF editing.
• Working knowledge of fiber components, splicing, and network architecture.
• Ability to create BOMs, splice sheets, and supporting design documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, field notes, and specifications.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD (ACAD), Microsoft Word, Excel, D365, and Outlook.
• Excellent team communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and shifts in priority.
• Superior time management and attention to detail.
• Ambitious with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to navigate and pull data from multiple software programs at once.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and telecom design best practices.

Requirements

• Shift(s): Day shift is Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM IST or Monday - Friday 5:30 PM - 12:00 AM IST.
• 40 hours per week minimum.
• Training hours for two weeks will be 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM IST, Monday - Friday.
