Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Solutions Engineer to join our growing, distributed team at Coforma. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience in software development, cloud architecture, information security, networking, and Linux systems and will leverage their knowledge and expertise in these areas to help shape solutions from a technical and engineering perspective.

You'll directly interface with Capture Managers and cross-functional team members throughout the proposal process, helping the team overcome technical objections and supporting engineering projects across the organization.

Compensation: $150,235 to $169,146 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential.

• Tier 1 — $150,235.80: Meets stated qualification and experience requirements. May need guidance and training beyond onboarding to perform the more complex functions of the role.
• Tier 2 — $159,691.20: Experienced and fully competent. Will be able to independently perform key responsibilities of the role once onboarding is completed.
• Tier 3 — $169,146.60: Highly experienced and can perform all responsibilities of the role at a higher level than expected once onboarding is completed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or full stack engineering role.
• Experience with and strong understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (SSO, SAML, OIDC, RBAC).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills (verbal, written, and/or with the use of assistive tech).
• Full-time resident of the contiguous United States (must be legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship).

Requirements

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of security principles and best practices, encryption standards, and enterprise compliance requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and more.
