[Hiring] Structural Designer @WD Partners

Role Description

As a Structural Designer, you will work within a team to help produce construction documents for our clients. You will:

• Design building systems
• Perform engineering calculations
• Produce construction documents
• Prepare technical documentation
• Work collaboratively to coordinate your work across an integrated team of other designers, architects, and engineers in the US and India

In addition to following WD Partners values, policies, and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Produce designs and calculations for building systems
• Produce system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, reports, and specifications
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes
• Utilize industry software in the execution of your work including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Office, and other design software
• Communicate with project lead on the status of your individual work as it relates to scope, milestones, project timelines, and deliverables
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed and constructible project solutions

Qualifications

• Structural Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
• Prior work experience in Architecture and designing
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience working with projects in a variety of related client industries, such as restaurant, retail, and/or healthcare
